Adi is highly intrigued by percussions. 'Dhonak' (Dholak) as he calls it; is his companion all through the day till he sleeps. His early obsession with the instrument began with frequent visits to ISCKON where there are kiratn's being sung throughout the day amidst the 'khol' (mridangam) and khonjoni (trinklets). Adi thinks every percussion instrument can be played like the Mridang. His continuous effort is in replicating the style and sound of the Mridang. Here are some instruments that make his favorite pass time at home.
